Light Leaks Magazine

There is a great publication for low-fi photography called Light Leaks Magazine. They take submisions on -line. This is my entry for the "Pinhole" theme. I took this shot one winter morning. My first versions had the grass blue and the sky green. But this is almost as good I think. Click the title of this post to go to Light Leaks site.

Early Color Pinhole Photos

Here are two pinhole pictures that I did a few years ago. The cool thing about working with color is that poor exposures and blurred images that wouldn't work as a black and white can in color. I haven't made very many pictures using color film lately because digital photography is so much easier for most applications. I still have quite a bit of color film but no color chemicals or paper. These negatives were scanned and never printed.
I played with the second one on the computer and then created the third from it. I call it Four Fruit.
I like the abstraction that occurs when the negative is fogged and the colors aren't right... and all that other stuff that goes with pinhole photography. Then, as with hand-coloring my black and white images, I'm tempted to manipulate them even more with Photoshop.
